[Verse 1]
We're all in this world looking for something
Before we vanish and waste away to nothing
Some want fame, others wants only pleasure
People want a name and refused to be measured
We're all looking for something, that part is true
And we've all felt lost, that part is not new
So we envelope ourselves in different enigmas
Trying to craft character and charisma
We search for meaning and we start dreaming
We learn, start reading and soon begin beaming
Devising tactics that require much practice
Finding our own cracks and if we lack this
And then we fill the holes with whatever we need
Into our demons we feed and we lose our creed
Until one day it bleeps back on our radars
We get into our cars and we drive away far
[Chorus]
Paper towns, paper boys and paper girls
Why can't we see into the greater world?
With an abundance of reluctance we just go
Far, far away until the labyrinth grows
Paper hearts are too fragile but still agile
You've got a cancer curing grin and smile
Build towns from the ground on simple principle
We cannot be broken: we're just invincible
[Verse 2]
Lips whispering words too inaudible and silent
Nothing is longer plausible: only violent
The world on it's a axis, spinning like a dreidel
We get out of control and are no longer stable
Find your ambitions in a hearse plagued by a curse
Ripped like a paper purse and that's not the worse
You're heart is now inside torn into 19 parts
Where to start? You now see new things in art
Seeing words that aren't there like an anagram
Analyzing like a diagram, graphing like a pentagram
The numbers no longer blunders: gives you definition
New wonders to discover: strengthened intuition
You can find you're path out of the maze and haze
Give praise to who are close and follow your ways
Thanks to pranks, no division amongst ranks
Inside libraries for life there are only think-tanks
[Chorus]
Paper towns, paper boys and paper girls
Why can't we see into the greater world?
With an abundance of reluctance we just go
Far, far away until the labyrinth grows
Paper hearts are too fragile but still agile
You've got a cancer curing grin and smile
Build towns from the ground on simple principle
We cannot be broken: we're just invincible
[Verse 3]
Let them watch your moves: they're like eagles
Acting like regal royalties that are above the people
But they are equal because we all have abilities
Just withstand their aim for your head like guillotines
Drink deeply and eat hearty: this is your one chance
In a mental trance keep steady and assume a stance
A last stand, a last dance. Your last breath?
With little time left, what do you say before death?
Do you assume everything is simply inedible?
Or do you create relationships that are unforgettable?
Tie strings that connect us from one to another
Rise from the gutters and have on-lookers stutter
Have them in awe of what you have done with yourself
There's no equation in the world that will help
Just know that you can do anything you think is real
Because it tastes exactly like how hope feels
[Chorus]
Paper towns, paper boys and paper girls
Why can't we see into the greater world?
With an abundance of reluctance we just go
Far, far away until the labyrinth grows
Paper hearts are too fragile but still agile
You've got a cancer curing grin and smile
Build towns from the ground on simple principle
We cannot be broken: we're just invincible
[Radar (Jake Bisuut) Bonus Verse]
These days seeing things a little bit closer
Noticing the cracks within makes us bolder
Who knows what kind of people we were before
Whether we were the ones to adore or abhor
Every single one of us in our own shoes,
Central to our universe, your news is no news
Going on forever, stuck in our labyrinth
Own little world, no one notices absence
The world says you need a reason to live
But a reason to die, Lord, Heaven forbid
Except everything we do sends shivers down our spines
And down to the roots, where our lives intertwine
There I know I'm tangled up in kinks,
Pulling just one string brings us close to the brink.
Looking over, each time I get pulled back down
By those that matter most, declaring my soul to be found.

Day of the Dead
Welcome to the land of the descendants of darkness
Descending into pitch black with chests that lack, we're heartless
Pardon the different demons, heat and ice differ in seasons
We've stole, lied, cheated, defeated and repeated treasons
And the reason is because chaos rules (In this world)
And nothing else.
The place of giants stomping grounds, parading around
Harpies fly in the sky and fire rains down and pounds the mounds
Loud vibrations of the different situations provided by regiments
Of the sentiments of gremlins and goblins patrolling the residents
Stuck in the muck, out of luck, and so corrupt (In this world)
Day of the dead.
[Chorus]
On and on and on and on
I've been hustling ever since the dawn
You gotta get up, stand up, switch the band up
Living with the evil who has no other equal
Only creates truer people (In this world)
You might think I don't belong in this palace of malice
That I fell down like Alice into this realm, but I lift the chalice
This is as much mine as any of the other fiends in this nightmarish dream
I'm a monster of self-esteem, stress and steam with no team
But unlike the others I can actually gleam (In this world)
They scorn my shine.
And that's also why I've get to stand up and shout
I'm a monster of clout and they're monsters of doubt
They're monsters of stout and are monsters with gout
I'm what every monster talks about, capable of being out
Without scouts or lost bouts, I have my own route (In this world)
They still don't get it.
[Sample]
In this world
What's happening to love?
I'd like to know
[Chorus]
On and on and on and on
I've been hustling ever since the dawn
You gotta get up, stand up, switch the band up
Living with the evil who has no other equal
Only creates truer people (In this world)
Legions and armies got nothing on me, black perpetual
I am Legend and it's all because of my superior mental
I'm a shadow hiding in the gallows of the shallow materials
I cause burials of warlocks and strike fear in the imperials
No one can get near me though (In this world)
Ghoulish creatures gain goose bumps when I get nearer
And even creepers cannot sneak upon me, I see clearer than a mirror
The ghosts boast and toast my appearance as the well-dressed host
I get the most, so take notes, and memorize my every quote
Brainless fools against me, is past murder: autopsy
Every foe I go against down here are mindless zombies
I've gained control of this abyss because this is the purpose
Every single component of yourself can never be worthless (In this world)
[Chorus]
On and on and on and on
I've been hustling ever since the dawn
You gotta get up, stand up, switch the band up
Living with the evil who has no other equal
Only creates truer people (In this world)

Hit The Lights
They say whatever must come up, has to come down
And every great musician has to compose his last sound
I've known this from the beginning, from the very start
I just hope I'll past that line and get out my art
Despite my best intentions and thought up strategies
I'll failed to be mentioned and become a travesty
A horrific future that I pray doesn't become reality
If these premonitions come true, it'll still be sad to see
Because the truth hurts no matter how long you prepare
I've looked it hard in the eyes, exchanged glares
Traded stares and glances, and in return backward looks
"Am I mistook that this Asian Kid has got a rhyme book?"
Not at all, it's just a dream of mine, but let me ask
Wasn't it yours to bask in the glory of a superhero mask?
Or to fly with the birds past the clouds and onto the moon?
We landed, look at the footsteps, it's getting dark soon, so...
[Chorus]
Lights please, lights please
Turn off the lights
We need to set the mood just right
The crescendo is about the end tonight
Maybe things will be alright
It took 5 years to create what you're listening
Building and destroying just to begin my christening
So much bickering and fights along the way, believe me
Negatively received, but in the end it still relieves chi
Positive flow to go from the intro into the studio
Will I ever blow? I hope it'll be known in the outro
My first rap as a 6th grader, it's steadily become greater
I'm finally being fixed and mastered along cross-faders
7th grade hiatus: I was ridiculed by my family
But my adolescent mind needed a remedy, this is my therapy
8th grade lit a spark, a light in the dark, set a new mark
My final performance left a good start to embark
Freshman year started feeling myself a little better
Style a little clever, getting it together, flying like a feather
Battle of the Bands featuring the MC to rock melodies
That moment on stage will continue to peddle me then it's...
[Chorus]
Lights please, lights please
Turn off the lights
We need to set the mood just right
The crescendo is about the end tonight
Maybe things will be alright
My future looks a little unclear at this moment in time
My mixtape ready to drop and purchased for 30 dimes
But will my rhymes help me steady my climb?
Or will it turn out that my luster wasn't ready to shine?
I'm sitting alone in my room bumping my own tracks
Don't react like it's my ego intact, just checking my craft
Pinpointing what I did wrong on every single song
I'm not perfect, I know there's something that doesn't belong
I came hard on this one, but some weak rhyming going on
It's already sunset and I've been at this since dawn
Obsessive, excessive, I've said it, and this is the message
Please bless this so I can rep this and prep it
Properly. So then one day there will be no stopping me
I'll have to end obviously, but won't be tomorrow, probably
It's already midnight and the tape is ready for flight
There's nothing left to fight, so hit the lights
[Chorus]
Lights please, lights please
Turn off the lights
We need to set the mood just right
The crescendo is about the end tonight
