[Chorus] x2
Sharpen my knives and heat up the pans
Chop up some chives and meet the man
I'm cooking something fierce in these pots
So eat up and cheers, this is food for thought
[Verse 1]
Flippin beef in my kitchen, I am the chief
Ready to barter and steal for cheese, I'm the thief
My food's the type that'll get stuck in your teeth
I saute beats just to provide a lyrical feast
The heat's fired up and I boil some liquid swords
Profound pronouns chopped up on my board
Check in my gourd for flavor to combine and mesh
My style that's less than fresh, so what do you expect?
A refreshing pop that's a stick of spearmint
All original recipes and books just to experiment
A satisfying quill that fulfills all your cravings
Iron Asian with a fire like Cajun, that's amazing
Wok wok wok it out to work out my bezel
Stir fry supply on metal I call Gretel
It's hot out the oven, take a sec and think about it
Handing out delicious dishes, I'm surrounded
[Chorus] x2
Sharpen my knives and heat up the pans
Chop up some chives and meet the man
I'm cooking something fierce in these pots
So eat up and cheers, this is food for thought
[Verse 2]
I'm made to order, my house is a porter
My taste is explosive, that's why they call me mortar
I've got this unique hand crafted flavor
Something you have to enjoy and savor
And I'm just getting started on my menu
On the avenue my restaurant is THE venue
Our revenue is more green that our salads
More dressings than the Ceaser's Palace
An exquisite after thought lingers on your pallet
We use the finest ingredients and a perfect balance
My talent cannot be compared, it's the real deal
I'm gourmet and they're ready to go dinner meals
One more surprise, served up light and bright
Before you take flight, take a glance at my plight
Tonight's desert put's all of them to shame
Smooth Vanilla game and Chocolate Rain
[Chorus] x2
Sharpen my knives and heat up the pans
Chop up some chives and meet the man
I'm cooking something fierce in these pots
So eat up and cheers, this is food for thought
[Verse 3]
Heavy entree that's specialized in flambe
Always I blow up daily like a bomb day
They said I'd be fly when the pork flew
Well look at what I see here, swine flu
I eat up that poultry with no love for the birds
That's how I roll, like dinner's served
I don't need to introduce me, do we?
Either way, I'm raw just like sushi
Today's special is regarding a potential 5 star
Sashimi mental on top of instrumental tar tar
I guarantee you it's not sub-par, but sublime
Like a fine wine, these rhymes improve over time
[Chorus] x2
Sharpen my knives and heat up the pans
Chop up some chives and meet the man
I'm cooking something fierce in these pots
So eat up and cheers, this is food for thought

MEtaphysical
[Chorus]
In a metaphysical realm pit
Danger rules all so y'all strap on your helmets
Terrain here is less than velvet
Stay strong, stay solid, and stay welded
[Verse 1]
From the belly of the beast, where it feasts
We must beat the stampede to the east
The least of our concerns is the heart
Set aflame and wrapped in chained variations and parts
The brain with a rapid climate change
Not even a storm inside, it's a hurricane
Drizzles when calm, enraged like bombs
Rivers of knowledge flow with pythons
The joints with 360 rotation
Speaking thoughts that fail at flotation
Out through the mouth is a fiend's dream
Verbal cocaine concocted by lyrical proteins
Down to the cells this monster excels
Well at everything literary, it's not hard to tell
Through the veins and streams delivery
Is the names and dreams so vividly
[Chorus]
In a metaphysical realm pit
Danger rules all so y'all strap on your helmets
Terrain here is less than velvet
Stay strong, stay solid, and stay welded
[Verse 2]
Exhaling out are massive tornadoes
As well as molten saliva, a mouth volcano
When he spits, out drips is fiery lava
His mind's design is split not into chapters, but sagas
Epic poetry is the basis of thoughts
Tied into complex cradles and able knots
The processes tend to shift and fluctuate
Impossible to predict and let alone calculate
A vast ocean that will swallow you whole
Rampant motions that'll knock you out cold
The offices of his intellect all clips and staples
Though horses could live there: it' stable
Capable of thoroughbred dread and doom
His bad luck looms over in a dark gloom
But just assume that he makes his own luck and boom
The skies brighten up and duties resume
[Chorus]

Let's Talk
[Chorus]
Let's talk about (said a milli times.)
Let's talk about focus this is not bogus
I do this less than hopeless and you should know this
That my pen writes more than potent and notice
That this isn't make believe like hocus pocus
I write the dopest lines where the west coast is
They call me a comedian cause I'm where all the jokes is
But hold it, whoa this is the fiery toasted
Roasted that is boasted and shaking like locusts
I send beats to where the morgue is so its posted
Understand I'm here to learn, I'm a sponge to soak this
I'm studying text books and learning not from hooks
But from people who had this world shook like rooks
Babbling like a brook but crash down in a tidal wave
I make your spinal cave and put you in your final grave
My style is water, assuming many forms and shapes
Pounding down in torrents with wrath on your grapes
Sprinkle in a mist and if you missed this whole theme
Then it seems that I'll have to go gentle like a stream
But I'll switch up into a rain in my brain, a new form
Then proceed to hurricane in my mind, talk about brain storm
[Chorus]
Let's talk about (said a milli times)
Let's talk about my ambitions as an artist
I've started and made songs claiming I'm the hardest
But what am I? Pardon, but never did I intro my self
This flow though is helped by the gold lined shelf
My name is Alex Dang, this is at 16 years old
My goal is to never fold til I hit the gold going bold
I'm gonna turn coal to diamonds with expert rhymin
Author like Geiman I tell stories, no not lyin
And no I'm not black as you can clearly tell
But might I add I rhyme on these tracks equally well
Hell, since when can't an Asian spit and verbalize?
Not a stereotype with tight eyes, just a prized mind
I get berated for these lines inflated with belated rhymes
As well as not getting inebriated off of beer or dimes
I don't own a nine nor do I pack heat in any fashion
Except for that fiery flame in my heart that's called passion
That inferno goes near my nose so I don't really flow, I burn
Been MCing for 3 years and in those terms I've really learned
Have a few shows under my belt where I was kind of felt
I didn't freeze when I MCed, but please, I did not melt
That mic ignites when I gauge my rage in my maze
I write about anything that sparks my mind and blaze
With a structure I've punctured every day
My mind frame is changing but always Grade A
So don't stop me press play.
[Chorus]

Monologue
Yeah, I hear you laughing as you're passing
I ignore it with my headphones on max blasting
All Eyez On Me to KRS Oh En E, all MCs
Inspirational muse for me, but of course you don't see
Conversations you never have once attempted
Maybe tempted, but for your views argumentative
Lamented I seem when you crush down my dreams
But if you continue to ream I will soon one day beam
Watch the gleam as I turn this stress to steam
And you'll see all the fiends hopping on my team
The path will be paved since I was a teen
and it will be seen that I lean with wit and keen
Keeping clean and out of dirt with no mean intentions
Without mentions of cars, jewelery, and pensions
But expansions of my mind going from shack to mansion
You look at my songs with thoughts so rancid
But if I landed a record deal then I think this act would peel
And you would try to steal and claim credit for a meal
But that'll be mine, you can't hustle my shine
You can't lay ownership to my hop hop rhymes
But you can line up with the other disbelievers
And the people who were behind me become receivers
Not talking football, but put in work like Beavers
Quite eager so now you are student and I'm the teacher
I'm the main speaker and you will follow the leader
I will do this my own way and my own path
This is my craft and such would mean you do the math
It's daft, yeah, but I'm no punk, I won't get bunked
No backseat for me or trunks, you'll call me Dunk
Like the goddess of victory is on my side
I'll leave room for pride but everyone know I tried
When you didn't even give me a chance
So I stiffened my stance and equipped my lance
No radio dance nor will I do their prance
But know that not all of my material is rants
Give me substance and a feel much more rustic
Trust it like loyal husbands, I got it in abundance
From Tokyo and beyond my flow in London
I'll punish as I run this which in turn will be "Done this."
I ignore it with my headphones on max blasting
All Eyez On Me to KRS Oh En E, all MCs

Force of Nature
He was born out the darkness, craved the light
He acted real polite even in the faces of fights
The runt of the litter, so small and weak
Timid voice with unlimited choice of speech
Building with wooden blocks that got knocked
His rock was tested by bullies on their walk
He would rebuild his little civilizations day after day
With little conversation he had his own way
At the age of six already reading chapters
Becoming a master of words way much faster
Even surpassed the last graduating class
With a craft so daft, many of his peers just laughed
Even his family partakes in verbal berates
Stays up late night because he knew he is great
And his fate and destiny provided a lot on his plate
But it's not what he ate, it's all about taste
[Chorus] x2
This is the story from rags to glory
The tale from how vivid arose from pale
The fable given to people to become stable
And in these bars is one man's memoir
This is the narration of his life's contemplation
The description in the form of a verbal inscription
A legend and myth like the Jedi and Sith
These are all synonyms of his grand vision
As he got older, he broke ranks as a solider
No longer a pawn, the dawn arose bolder
He grew assertive and certain with precise cursive
That provided his words with so much purpose
He began feeling himself in all aspects direct
Gaining respect from the left but he stayed in check
Not arrogant and now relevant
His temperaments had now been forged to testaments
Forget a mint because he's a new experiment
Lyrically beyond fresher than a stick of spearmint
Even the hatred he used as his pavement
The critics pivot their heads in amazement
Using the stepping stones and earbud headphones
His art was given heart and a very urgent tone
Now he stands before you on this stage
Putting his rage to the page and out for you to gauge
[Chorus] x2
